^{Peter cursed and disowned Jesus whenever he was accused  of being a man with Jesus.}

He was sore afraid and he was not prepared to believe what was happening to the son of man. It was horrifying!

 A big blow to his faith! He felt betrayed and forsaken by the shocking  events.  As a result,  the faith he had  had in the son of man now had proved  a waste and unrewarding. Peter had forsaken everything for the sake of His master . He left his boat, his fishing profession, his lands and what ever he had acquired dreaming that his master would make him a Prince, a governor to rule over Israel. But look, What was  happening? His own master was  dying at the hands of the traitors.  Dazed and confused, Peter swore in any name saying , I do not know this man!?. Jesus had already revealed what Peter would do to protect his life. Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me thrice. Peter remembered  such a prophecy foretold by His master just the previous night. He was filled with bitterness and grief. He kept sobbing and he wept bitterly.  Jesus looked at Peter when Peter  was betraying for the third time reminding Peter of his empty promise.

^{But Peters sorry face must have made the Lord to forgive him.}

^{Peter, unlike Judas, did not punish himself when moved by guilt,  instead, he wept bitterly and sought forgiveness from the Lord. As a result, Peter became an apostle and on him church was founded.}

^{Peter was gifted in believing  the Lord Jesus Christ and none other disciple could match Peter in this aspect. The unshakable faith of Peter moved even the Father in heaven  to reveal Him that Jesus is the son of God.}

^{Peter was not egoistic, unlike Judas who had chosen to punish himself instead of surrendering  to the master.}

When guilt haunts you please go to the Master and weep in His presence like Peter did.

^{Oh, daughter of Zion,  pour your heart like the water before the Lord. laments Jeremiah.}

^{Yes, after choosing the way to purge the guilt, how would I continue to survive?}

^{Once a sin is confessed, you must believe that the Lord has forgiven you. If  you still live in earlier thoughts then your confession would end up nowhere. If your inner voice says that your sins are not forgiven, then it must be a false voice or that of the Satan for Satan is the accuser and his only job is to make the things of God a lie.}

^{Faith is the only tool that will make you stronger against the viles of the Devil .}

^{The same faith makes you to go ahead with the future life leaving the past.}

^{If  your confessed sins are not forgiven then why should Jesus die on the cross?}

^{The sacrificed life of the son of man on the cross  would then become a waste! Isnt it?}

^{So please believe that the blood of Jesus Christ is all powerful enough to cleanse you from any kind of sin and will make you eligible to enter heaven.}

^{May the Lord fill your soul with the joy of salvation. Amen}
